The 2025–26 Thailand Master Ball League was held in Bangkok, Thailand on May 16-17, 2026. It was the third Thailand Master Ball League (THMBL) competition held in the country, having tournaments in both Pokémon Champions and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Video Game Championships
In the VGC, all age divisions compete in a single tournament. Day One was composed of Swiss rounds, with players finishing in the top 16 moving on to Day Two. These players were placed in a single elimination bracket. All games were best of three with a time limit of 60 minutes per matchup.
Matches took place in Pokémon Champions under Regulation Set M-A and were all Double Battles.
The finalists are both given 2026 Pokémon World Championships invitations with travel awards, while the remaining 10 players who positioned in the top 12 are also given invites without travel awards. Additionally the 4 top players in the Junior or Senior division outside of the top 12 will also receive invitations to the World Championships.
Trading Card Game
The 2026-27 Standard format was used for the Pokémon TCG competitions, allowing all cards with regulation mark
or later. Unlike the VGC tournament, players competed according to their age division.
Day One was composed of Swiss rounds, with players who have less than two losses in the Masters Division, or placing in the top 16 in the Juniors or Seniors Division moving on to Day Two. Players who moved on to Day Two were allowed to switch decks from the one they used during Day One, but must use the same deck for the entire day.
On day Two, the Junior and Senior Division had a 16 single elimination bracket, while the Masters Division players continued playing Swiss rounds on Day Two, and at the conclusion of the Swiss rounds players with match points equal to or greater than the 8th placed player in the post Swiss standings were placed in an asymmetrical single elimination bracket. All games were best of three.
The top player in the Junior and Senior divisons are both given 2026 Pokémon World Championships invitations with travel awards, as are both finalists in the Masters division.
