:::::Yeah, I know. and -ize not -ise, no matter how silly it makes it look =p Its ok though coz Firefox has a build in spellchecker that reads American only. The problem here was that the word period here means practically everything but full stop. It's all sorted now though, thanks guys, no need to keep checking up on me. :D — [[User talk:The dark lord trombonator|THE TROM]] — 20:44, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

See here for my opinions and stuff; the username is staying redlinked for personal preference.

Talking

you see, we use talk pages for talking, so, give me one good reason why i shouldnt take a pile of garbage up there ^^^ and move it onto your main page, thusly, de-redding your name. -- MAGNEDETH 01:11, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

I see that, and above this post is it not clear that I am talking to you? As the general courtesy around Bulbapedia is to lay off of other peoples' user pages, I am confident that you will honor this and leave my redlinked name alone. It is my personal preference that my name stays red, so please don't let it bother you. It may interest you to know that while not editing in my own userspace, I will keep my usertalk and user-subpage edits to a minimum also, while still contributing to the encyclopedia as a whole. But thank you for your concern anyway. -- THE TROM 01:17, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
keeping user edits down is fine, but, we dont allow non-sense like that on talk pages, and as an admin, you know, a guy made to enforce the rules, its my obligation to call shenanigans and move that mess to your main page. OR, you can move it yourself to a sub-page. but rules are, talk pages are for talking, not giant links or whatever that dont have any use on a talk page. also, i am keeping the conversation in one place, right here. -- MAGNEDETH 01:22, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
You need to link your userpage in your signature too, please. Porygon-Z 01:32, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
My talk page is linked instead because my user page does not have any content in it. If people wish to contact me by clicking on the signature, they will be taken to the correct place. -- THE TROM 01:34, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
It's a rule. Porygon-Z 01:35, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
That seems like a silly rule then. I'd like to suggest we propose rewording it to: "Make sure that your signature at least links either to your own user page or to your own user talk page (a link to your user talk page makes it simpler for other users to contact you, although it isn't required). Your signature may contain other links as well, but exercise common sense when adding links." If I was anyone but me, clicking on a redlink, and then having to click again to another page to talk to Bulbapedian editor The Trom would be a hassle. -- THE TROM 01:47, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Or you could use common sense. Link the to your nonexistant user page, Trom to your talk page. It has too link to your userpage in some way--DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))
How's this then? -- THE TROM 01:52, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
No, I'm not... needs colours... -- THE TROM 01:53, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
There should be a link of colors here:
Wikipedia:Colors.
If not just lift them from others signatures--DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_colors--DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits)) 01:55, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
I've put a font colour tag in, so why isn't it working? -- THE TROM 01:59, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
What color do you want it to be?--DCM((Shut the **** upSpy on My Edits))
Try this-THE TROM --RexRacer -talk 02:04, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
Sorted. Thanks for the input, guys, now go check out my proposed BP:AGF. THE TROM 02:09, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Trivia

i know for a fact there's far better things to do than go around removing trivia, so, while i know it strikes a nerve with you for whatever reason, just stop unless its really that unnecessary. granted, that could be the problem, you see something as useless when it actually qualifies as interesting. in the end, might as well just leave it alone. -- MAGNEDETH 02:29, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Looking for something to do? Work on the Special manga. We need a ton of articles created over there, and you can read it for free on mangafox.com.--RexRacer -talk 04:35, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, but I have no interest in reading the manga. I'm hoping to work on game-related articles, like Puddles. — THE TROM — 04:36, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Uh, dude?

Why don't you have a userpage? It confuses me. --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 20:01, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

Plenty of people don't have userpages. BTW, good work, Trom. --ニョロトノ666 23:08, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

America!

not all of us are American. in fact, the topic regarding what version of English to use is a hot topic, but, given the Pokemon games are dubbed into American English, that's what we do. -- MAGNEDETH 00:25, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

I'm aware of that. If you check any of my edits, every mainspace edit is done in American English, while my talkspace edits tend to vary as I forget. In the instance that you are commenting on, I had completely forgotten about your use of "period" for "full stop". — THE TROM — 00:27, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
its ok, im not yelling at you, merely commenting on it. -- MAGNEDETH 00:39, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
Since you are the resident nice guy, would you mind checking this out and giving feedback?--RexRacer -talk 03:07, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
