I haven't noticed any standards set in place for the TCG video game, yet. I'm curious to know what jurisdiction it falls under seeing as it's a video game of the card game (just to avoid conflict and confusion). Personally, I think it should be primarily considered a video game, and the TCG part should be secondary and merely referential. TCGdex has it's own section, and direct intervention of the actual TCG ruins the cohesion and integrity of the articles specific to the video game.
 
Also, I recently uploaded a complete collection of the TCG1 card sprites, and I'm slowly updating the info relevant info little by little. Here, for Spinda's Gen IV sprites, we use the ones that were programmed into the game (for an impossible personnality value of 0) and serve as placeholders.  I thought it might be interesting to manually remove the spots from a Gen III Spinda's face.  Although I know that it is technically fan-made, we could perhaps use this as Spinda's Gen III sprite.
