Thank you, and have a good time editing here! サトシ 00:09, 24 January 2012 (UTC) |
Brock270 23:15, 24 January 2012 (UTC)- I really want to make a user page,but I don't have permission yet. How do I get permission?
- You do it by not asking, and instead proving yourself to be a worthy user by editing mainspace pages (Any page that has no prefix eg "Bulbapedia:", "Shipping:", "User:", "User talk:" etc. It shows the admins that you're here for business AND leisure, not just the latter--SandmanDP 23:29, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Brock270 23:45, 24 January 2012 (UTC) Thank you SandmanDP!
And please end your comments with your signature, not start them. The timestamp accompanying it makes it very difficult to read responses if the signature is not placed at the end--SandmanDP 23:54, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
- OK. Sorry!Brock270 00:03, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Could you please repeat that in a way i'll understand? You are kind of confusing me.Brock270 00:24, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- He means to put a colon in front of your replies, and if the comment above you has three colons, your reply should have 4--SandmanDP 00:28, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. Still kind of confusing,but okay.Brock270 00:31, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Let's see if I can make this clearer... By adding colons ( : ) to the beggining of your reply, it makes it easier to see who said what. This also prevents your reply from running into the previous person's comment/reply. Those colons at the beggining of your last message indented, hence why you can't see them. The more colons you place, the bigger the indent. I placed five at the beggining of mine to make go under your's, which used four. Is this a bit clearer? Truthseeker4449 00:36, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
- Yes. Thank you very much you two=].Brock270 00:41, 25 January 2012 (UTC)
