History with Pokemon
I was first introduced to Pokemon in July of 1999 when I was on vacation. I was watching TV when Pokemon came on. I had seen commercials for it before, and I had also seen the very end of Primeape Goes Bananas and Pokemon Scent-Sation. But I was also a little nervous about watching it, because I had read in a magazine the show caused seizures. Nevertheless, I continued to watch the show, and it ended up being the first episode of the series. I was hooked from the start, and now Pokemon is one of my favorite TV shows.
For Christmas 2000, I received Pokemon Silver, my very first Pokemon video game. Not long after that, I received Pokemon Blue. I have since completed Silver and Sapphire, defeated all gym leaders in Blue, and am currently working on Emerald. I also own a used version of Pokemon Stadium 2.
I am also fairly active in the Pokemon online community. I was a member of the Serebii.net forums in 2001-2002, and I became a member of the Pokemasters.net forums in late 2002. I have also contributed to web sites such as Pojo.com and Dogasu's Backpack. I recently rejoined the Serebii.net forums in May 2006
Contributions to Bulbapedia
I joined Bulbapedia in April of 2006, and I have since contributed to quite a few sections. I created the Sean Schemmel page, and I plan on creating more pages about the Pokemon Voice Actors, which are my specialty. Currently, I am in the process of identifying who plays all of the main characters' Pokemon in the English version.
Another area of expertise I have is the English introductions. I have contributed to Born to Be a Winner, I Believe, and I Wanna Be a Hero, and I plan on contributing to the other theme songs.

- Completing character lists for Master Quest episodes
- Replacing Japanese names with English names in the episode guides

Other Areas of Interest
Although Pokemon is one of my main interests, it is not my only one. I am a HUGE Legends of the Hidden Temple fan, and I am a member of the Phantom's Temple message board. Another interest of mine is writing, and I hope to become a journalist when I am older. Next year, I will be a News Editor on my high school newspaper. I also used to be a big part of the now-defunct Animorphs series community, contributing to several web sites there.
