Confan1412 is a pokemon fan and has been since the series came to America. It's unknown or forgotten as how this user first was introduced to the franchise but became a long-time fan. Throughout the years he'd drift in and out of the series but has returned. He enjoys watching the original Japanese anime and isn't a big fan of 4Kids especially after what they'd done to other great anime series such as [http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page One Piece]. He enjoys reading manga and is a big fan of [[Pokemon Special]]. He's the founder of both the [http://kinnikuman.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Kinnikuman Wikia] as well as the [http://ippo.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Hajime no Ippo Wikia] however doesn't claim the title as founder for the Ippo Wiki. On other wikias he goes under the title KinnikuFan.
I became a fan of Pokémon when it first came to America in 1998. As far I can recall, my first experience with the franchise was the anime episode ''[[EP014|Electric Shock Showdown]]''. Needless to say, I was quickly hooked. I joined Bulbapedia in 2007. My primary focus has always been minor tasks, primarily redirects. Most of those tasks get dealt with quickly these days, so I rarely appear as an active member.

To this day, Pokémon remains one of those series I always come back to after long absences. I still enjoy playing the games and ''[[Pokémon Adventures]]'' remains one of my favorite manga. While I don't regularly keep up with it anymore, I love the direction the anime has gone with ''[[Pokémon the Series: XY|XY]]'', ''[[Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon|Sun & Moon]]'', and ''[[Pokémon Journeys: The Series|Journeys]]''. It's a good time to be a Pokémon fan. And even though I may not make many edits to this place anymore, I will always be thankful for the wonderful resource that is Bulbapedia.
