Shouldn't it be noted that it's in-game sprite eyes are never open either if it's going to point out that for the anime? Closest it came was in crystal and they still weren't open, and if they were they were barely opened. --[[User:Chaos knight|Chaos knight]] 20:29, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

:Actually, none of these should be pointed out. We don't do it for Snorlax or Cyndaquil or Skitty, and if they aren't shown open then it would appear they don't open and no mention is needed. &mdash;'''<span style="font-family:Verdana"><span style="color:#000">darklord</span>[[User talk:The dark lord trombonator|<span style="color:#0047AB">trom</span>]]</span>''' 20:39, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

001Bulbasaur RG.png Due to special coding in place in the article, the artwork featured on this article will change every year on November 21 and October 15 in celebration of the releases of Gold and Silver in Japan, and Gold and Silver in the United States. This will only affect the artwork shown in the infobox. This changes every year, so when the time comes, here to return to the page and change the display.
