Roselia

The page currently says Roselia yields 2 EVs, but that's true only for Generation 4 and not 3. Do we need to make this clear in the article? Do we need to create a new page for Generation 3? sumwun (talk) 06:13, 3 March 2018 (UTC)

Misdreavus's EV yield also changed in Generation 4, and a bunch of other Pokemon changed their experience yields in that generation. sumwun (talk) 23:06, 20 January 2019 (UTC)

It should be split

It definetly should not be split. The EV yield are the same in both generations, the only difference being that generation IV Pokémon didn't exist in generation III (obviously). We would just end up with two lists almost identical to one another, one of which (generation IV) would have all the information already, and being exatly what this article is now. Turns out I didn't. My bad. I did read the whole article text, though, looking for anything indicating a difference between generations, and found nothing. If it is the case of the EV yield being different, maybe a good way to begin would be saying so in the article. We could say it is only 100% accurate for generation IV. I also saw now that some exp values have an asterisk for when it was changed in gen IV, but I saw none for EV values.

Anyway, if there are few Pokémon whose EV (and exp) yield were changed (I'd consider the amount noted in the page so far to be few) the notes with an asterisk could be as much of a solution as we may need (without having to split the article). If there turn out to be many other changes from gen III to gen IV, then I say we could split it. Again sorry for the lack of attention before. Suic (talk) 21:11, 12 May 2019 (UTC)

I added asterisks for all the EV yield changes. I still think having a separate article for every generation might be better, because that way I can sort the table by Generation 3 EV yields.
