Is is said in the trivia that "Dawn's Pachirisu flying around the ship using balloons may be a reference to Chuchu from the Pokémon Adventures manga", but it seems to me that this is a reference to the flying Pikachu with balloons in the intro of the Pokémon Yellow videogame.
