Does the symbol on the back of Bronzor/Bronzong have any special meaning? (Check the "Forms" section of the Pokédex. There's some kind of 5-leaf branch symbol on their backs.) --DarkfireTaimatsu 05:41, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't know the name of the legend/fairy tale, but I know it's what the two pokemon are based off of. A large bell broke and the village collected mirrors(made of bronze back then) to melt down and fix the bell. One woman was greedy and lied about the mirror, then died or something and her mirror was cursed. When they tried to melt her mirror it wouldn't melt (heatproof explained. I think the symbol on the back was also important in the tale. If anyone could find the correct/full version of this story, it would help shed some light. --Eleking 05:07, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Aged Bronze?

It just me or does the shiny version look like and aged bronze version

• They just coloured him green, they probably were running out of ideas this stage, they made a bronze plate a pokemon. they just coloured him green. Ichinomiya flag?

I found this:

on wikipedia a little bit ago and automatically thought it looks like bronzor.If you conect the dots on bronzors face to its nose(or whatever that ball on it's face is) you get the design in the middle of the flag.just wondering if it should be included in the origin section.-Darkmaster0 01:54, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Weakness'

I believe that bronzong and bronzor are the only pokémon with only one weakness (due to the two weakness' and the abilities(Heatproof or Levitate) they have getting rid of either their Fire or Ground weakness). can I put this in the trivia --TiTAn 23:19, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Origin Story

A few years ago, Eleking was talking about an old legend that Bronzor might have been based off. It seems to be this: http://www.sacred-texts.com/shi/kwaidan/kwai07.htm - It explains the plant on the back (the Sho-Chiku-Bai relief that allowed the woman to recognize her mirror), it having Heatproof, and it evolving into a Bell. Expedition Gadget

Expedition Gadget's design in Super Mystery Dungeon is the same as Bronzor's - it even is referenced in-game by Bronzor. Should that be mentioned somewhere on this/Expedition Gadget's page?- unsigned comment from Itan (talk • contribs)

So, I have Bronzor's phrase from the game (just as extra proof) - [1] - and I think it makes some nive Trivia. So, "In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon Expedition Gadget is shaped in form of Bronzor." I think that piece of trivia should be fine to be added to the Expedition Gadget page, not the general page for Bronzor. I think the trivia should also state that it is mentioned by Bronzor itself in-game. Wowy_(talk) 11:47, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
