Dare I ask, but are the bolded words in names such as "Bulbasaur", "Conkeldurr", "Gabite" (since when is "bite" offensive?), and "Sandshrew" (even though it's unconfirmed) offensive words in other languages besides English? Dare I ask, but...

Dare I ask, but are the bolded words in names such as "Bulbasaur", "Conkeldurr", "Gabite" (since when is "bite" offensive?), and "Sandshrew" (even though it's unconfirmed) offensive words in other languages besides English?
