Perrin debuted in ''[[HZ068|Into a New Sky! The Brave Olivine!]]'', where she was taking photos of wild Pokémon. She briefly saw [[Lucius's Kleavor]] before it ran off.

In ''[[HZ071|Encounters at the Crystal Pool]]'', Perrin was in Mossui Town with her Hisuian Growlithe, she met Dot who was curious about her Partner Pokemon and Lucius's Kleavor. Perrin then had a battle against Dot promising to provide information on Kleavor if Dot wins, sending out her Leafeon to battle Dot's Quaxwell. While Leafeon mostly had the advantage, Quaxwell was able to win by learning {{m|Air Cutter}}, Perrin then kept her word and joined Dot in meeting the rest of the Rising Volt Tacklers to talk about Kleavor's location.

In ''[[HZ072|The Search for Kleavor!]]'', Perrin took [[Liko]], [[Roy]], Dot, and [[Friede]] to Tengu Mountain. Following an attack from a pack of wild {{p|Houndour}} and {{p|Houndoom}}, Perrin and Dot ended up separated from the others. As they traveled, Dot used a photograph Perrin took of her first encounter with Kleavor to determine the exact location where it happened. Once everyone had regrouped, they chose to use the various scratches Kleavor left in the terrain to find where it resided. 

In ''[[HZ073|Kleavor the Solitary Warrior]]'', Perrin and the others successfully tracked Kleavor down. When Kleavor lured everyone into a nearby cave, Perrin and Friede ended up taking a separate path from the children. By the time they exited the area, Perrin and Friede found Liko, Roy, and Dot in the middle of a fierce clash with Kleavor. Liko's group was eventually defeated, but their combined efforts successfully convinced Kleavor to join them. Later, Perrin bid farewell to the Rising Volt Tacklers, stating that the adventure inspired her to go out and take more Pokémon photos.

Perrin reappeared in a flashback in ''[[HZ085|The Pokémon Paradise of Laqua!]]''.

A year later, in [[HZ131]], Perrin reappeared in [[Levincia]], where she revealed that she had befriended [[Wy-Yes]]. Together, they vowed to reveal the truth about the [[Strong Sphere]]s and the Rising Volt Tacklers to Liko and her friends.

In [[HZ133]], Perrin traveled to the vicinity of [[Laqua]] with her friends, and she stayed on the Brave Olivine with [[Orla]], [[Ludlow]], [[Murdock]], Wy-Yes, and [[Mollie]]. In [[HZ134|the following episode]], she and Wy-Yes were responsible for revealing the truth about the Rising Volt Tacklers to the residents of [[Pericarp Town]].

In [[HZ136]], it was revealed that Perrin's photos helped clear the name of the Rising Volt Tacklers, as she had promised. She then returned to taking pictures around the world.

Perrin has a positive, upbeat and adventurous personality as a whole, being jovial and friendly to those she first meets. Perrin has a good sense of sportsmanship and honor, as she kept her word to provide information regarding [[Lucius's Kleavor]] after Dot defeated her in a [[Pokémon battle]]. As a professional [[photography|photographer]], she is always keen to take pictures of Pokémon and when something catches her eye and curiosity, she is determined to take a photo of it no matter what.

In ''[[HZ072|The Search for Kleavor!]]'', Perrin also reflects on her own slump in taking simple photographs, and catching a a glimpse of Kleavor inspired her to take more creative photos in her career, increasing her motivation and spirit.
