This card was included in the {{TCG|Obsidian Flames}} expansion with artwork by [[Cona Nitanda]], first released in the Japanese {{TCG|Ruler of the Black Flame}} expansion. An {{TCG|SVP Black Star Promos|SVP Black Star Promotional}} print of this card was released as one of the {{TCG|Prerelease cards|Prerelease promos}} for Obsidian Flames with artwork by [[OKACHEKE]], available in the {{TCG|Obsidian Flames Build & Battle Box}}. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing {{TCG|Prerelease Tournament}}s. A Non Holofoil version of the Obsidian Flames print was included in the Obsidian Flames Build & Battle Box; a Cosmos Holofoil version of this print was also available in the {{TCGMerch|Scarlet & Violet|Series|Temporal Forces Premium Checklane Blisters}} from March 22, 2024.
