Is it good trivia to say that following  Oshawott's win over a Dewott (Cesar), it means that every one of Ash's Unova starters has beaten their evolved forms; Tepig/Pignite beat an Emboar in Evolution by Fire, Snivy beat Trip's Servine in the 3 on 3 battle and now Oshawott beats Dewott? :Honestly, I don't think that's notable at all. Ash's Pokémon (as well as other Pokémon belonging to a main character) have defeated their evolved forms throughout the series, not just in Unova.
