==Hoenn Pokémon NicoNico Match 2014==

In 2014, Niconico has hosted a competition for Generation V players. The Hoenn Pokémon NicoNico Match competition was be held from 9:00 a.m. JST on Oct. 10 until 8:59 a.m. JST on Oct. 14. Participants who record 5 wins or losses will be able to receive 2,525 Poké Miles. 50,000 players may be able to participate, on a first-come first-serve basis. 

This competition was used a Double Battles format, with only Pokémon that are numbers 252-384 in the National Pokédex eligible for use. Players may only have one of either Kyogre, Groudon, or Rayquaza on their team. Pokémon that were transferred from Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 may be used in this competition. The Pokémon must be registered in the Battle Box on the PC. Each Pokémon will be set to Level 25 for this competition.
