'''Local concerns''' (Japanese: '''みんなの困りごと''' ''Everyone's Problems'') are a feature introduced in [[Detective Pikachu Returns]]. These are small optional tasks that local residents, including Pokémon, will ask [[Tim Goodman|Tim]] and [[Detective Pikachu (character)|Pikachu]] for assistance in finding a solution. These are detailed in a separate concerns list, which can be accessed by pressing the Y button. When these tasks are completed, newspaper articles will talk about events based on said tasks. The game's prologue and final chapter (A Plan That Transcends Time) feature no local concerns.
