A '''Canari plush''' (Japanese: '''カナリィぬい''' ''{{tt|Canary|Canari}} Doll'') is a type of [[Key Item]] introduced in [[Pokémon Legends: Z-A]] in [[Generation IX]]. Canari plush are plush doll merchandises manufactured in the likeness of [[Canari]], a popular streamer in [[Lumiose City]].

===Types===
Each Canari plush can be uniquely identified by the type of charm it holds. There are five different types of Canari plush, each one named after the color of the [[Poké Ball]] logo on its charm: Red, Gold, Pink, Green, and Blue. Each color of Canari plush is further divided into three levels, distinguished by the color of the charm itself: Level 1 (bronze charm), Level 2 (silver charm), and Level 3 (gold charm). A Level 3 Canari plush is further distinguished by its winking expression.

A special [[Autographed Plush]] can be obtained from [[Canari]] herself after defeating her in the Rank F [[Z-A Royale]] promotion match. This plush is to be given to [[Naveen]] as thanks for him helping out the player during Canari's Quiz Whiz Contest.

If the player talks to the Colorful Screw Exchange person after buying all the plushes (costing a total of 77 Colorful Screws), he will offer the player a '''giant Canari plush''' (Japanese: '''ビッグカナリィぬい''' ''Big {{tt|Canary|Canari}} Doll'') decor for their room in [[Hotel Z]], in exchange for bringing him the remaining Colorful Screws. He will also tell the player how many Colorful Screws there are left to find around Lumiose.

===Effect===
Each Canari plush provides a unique effect based on the color of its charm. The effect increases based on the plush's level.
* The [[Red Canari Plush]] increases the amount of [[Experience|Exp. Points]] obtained from battling.
* The [[Gold Canari Plush]] increases the amount of [[prize money]] obtained from battling.
* The [[Pink Canari Plush]] increases the amount of [[Mega Shard]]s obtained from [[Mega Crystal]]s.
* The [[Green Canari Plush]] increases the max health of the player, allowing them to last longer without [[Black out|blacking out]] when taking damage.
* The [[Blue Canari Plush]] increases the chance of catching a Pokémon.

===Acquisition===
A Level 1 [[Red Canari Plush]] is given to the player by [[Tarragon]] for free after they reach Rank Y in the [[Z-A Royale]]. More Canari plush can be purchased using [[Colorful Screw]]s at the Colorful Screw Exchange at [[Racine Construction]]. Canari plush cost 3, 5 or 8 Colorful Screws, depending on the level of the plush.

Players may only have one of each color of Canari plush, which are stored in the Key Items category. Higher level versions of each color can be bought from the Colorful Screw Exchange, but only after obtaining the previous level. Purchasing a higher level plush will replace the lower level version's effect, though the lower level plush will still be visible in the Key Items inventory.
