Advice Needed!

i have pokemon games from all the generations, but i dont have a GC version. i was going to get one a little while back, but then i found out that they didnt have mini-games! *gasp!* seriously, me and my friends still bring out Staduim 2 every once in a while to play the mini-games. but anyway, while looking into Colloseum, i hear that it has some RPGness to it. so, im wondering, would i enjoy Colloseum, or XD more? or should i not bother with either? am i not missing much?

on a side note, why hasnt Nintendo made a proper RPG pokemon game yet? for half the price of a real director and designer, ill go to Nintendo myself and oversee production of a true 3D adventure!!!
