  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.

Rematch teams

While I greatly appreciate you adding Generation II rematch teams, may I ask why you're replacing the gender symbols with Ms and Fs? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 10:27, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Oh sorry it just seemed like the standard since it autocorrects them, I can shift it back if it's otherwise.Et Ceterad (talk) 10:33, 17 January 2019 (UTC)
It's okay. Both work, but we use the symbols most of the time. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 11:30, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Rematch teams (BDSP edition)

Once again, thanks for adding rematch teams. I have one request, though: can you check if the prizes in Seven Stars Restaurant and Stark Mountain are correct? At least the restaurant, if you can't check the mountain. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:41, 29 December 2021 (UTC)

I determined the rematch teams by using this Google Sheet by Hematite to identify who had rematches (everyone from DP) and then just constantly fought them to get the confirmed numbers for prize money - I think everyone besides a single battle on Route 215 had the exact same team as originally reported in DP (which makes me suspect the team reported originally was incorrect). This lead me to discovering that the prize money numbers reported in that doc were only accurate if multiplied by 4, but were otherwise completely accurate to the game, even the strange ones (such as Ninja Boy Zach dropping in prize money between rematch 1 and 2). This was how I got prize money values for battles I couldn't do any more on those last two routes, so if you don't fully trust it, though I do, you'll have to get a fresh fight with the rematchable NPCs.
Anyway using this method I believe the numbers are correct (Ismael and Harley, for example, reward 2,944 together - Ismael should give 345*4=1,380 and Harley 391*4=1,564, summing correctly. Similarly, Darien gives 600*4=2,400 in Stark.) However, from basically the instant I complete this message I'm not going to have the time again to experimentally check any of these numbers for a couple weeks, and due to anomolies like Zach it's clear there's something going on different from the usual prize money calculation, so the best I can do is leave you the tools. Good luck with it.Et Ceterad (talk) 09:27, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
Gotcha. The prize money amounts are all over the place in these games sometimes, and at least one prize money amount I checked was sligthly off, but thanks for the tools. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:34, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
