By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

PSMD floors etc.

First of all, of course thanks for your help there. It's really nice to see progress being made. Anyway, I've changed some of your "floors" attributes for the main template that were in the form "B20F" to just "20", because that was what I found most dungeons do in that template (sadly, not all though). But if there's something more to it (IDK, maybe it's displayed very prominently, or it actually matters for anything), please feel free to change it back, or discuss it or something. (And FYI, the German wiki may really be a useful resource in addition. For Hall of Magic in particular, they say it's 11 floors, would you mind checking who's mistaken?) Anyway, great work so far! :) Nescientist (talk) 12:26, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

That's totally fine; I'm still extremely new so if there's anything that seems off in terms of templates and formatting feel free to point it out to me. :) In the game it's marked as "Floors: B20F" rather than "Floors: 20" but I don't really think it matters much. But I didn't even know that there was a German wiki! However in my game, it says there are 12 floors so I believe that's correct unless the game is giving me wrong info haha. Thanks so much for the encouraging words though! Clustar (talk) 13:11, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
Yeah, it was more an "some tips and some edit explanation that may need discussion" sort of message, and apparently it served its purpose! Also the encouraging. Thanks for checking. Although I'm technically even newer than you, I'd be glad to help you out if you need something. Just as me, you seem to be learning by observing (and quickly so), which I guess can only facilitate further improvements. In the meantime, I'll stick to the simple numbers, as that's also what the template documentation kinda suggests then. Nescientist (talk) 13:24, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
Woah, thanks so much! I've been wondering where the templates were... I've honestly just been copying and pasting from other pages @@;; I've been writing "No" for a number of the non-boss dungeons instead of "None"... I don't think editing the pages multiple times in a day is a good thing though. I might be "older" but I haven't done much or know much about anything at all haha, so I really appreciate the help. Regarding the German wiki: Bulbapedia is part of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis, and as such, articles are supposed to be linked to their other wikis' counterparts at the left hand side of an article. For the dungeons, the German wiki is the only partner wiki that has all of them, so I just added the German interwiki links for articles you created (you can check the diffs), and now we're linking there. Admittedly, the German wiki is in German, but they're using similar templates than us, they always mention dungeons' English names, and for dungeons with many Pokémon, they may have some in their lists that you may have not, hence my suggestion to also consider that info when creating an article.
To save you some time, and to also prevent Cryogonal from disguising as Bisharp, you could use {{subst:N2Num|Pokémonname}}, which will become the Pokémon's Pokédex number when the page is saved. You cannot see it, of course, but I've been using it for "Pokémon encountered" entries.
As for your recent edits, I've seen that you've done a good job linking, and that you also relocated Distress Mountain's boss away from the middle of the dungeon, where some weirdo (totally not me) had placed it. Air Looplet, being an item, should be somewhere on this wiki, so I've added a proper link there as well. In fact, Air Looplet and Wind Looplet are still missing from where they should be, so if you have the info at hand, could you maybe find a way to add it to the other looplets? Would be appreciated. (There might be others missing as well, I don't know.) Thanks, and keep up the good work! Nescientist (talk) 10:51, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
