HOW TO USE THIS TEMPLATE:
Essentially, you can use it like this: {{Spr|ndex|spriteset code|qualifier #1|qualifier #2|file extension}}. Both qualifiers, as well as the file extension, are not required, and default to nothing entered. Spriteset code is the code which has been devised to organize the sprites. A chart to decipher the different codes is below:
| Code | Game |
|---|---|
| 1g | Red and Green |
| 1b | Red and Blue |
| 1y | Yellow |
| 2g | Gold |
| 2s | Silver |
| 2c | Crystal |
| 3r | Ruby and Sapphire |
| 3f | FireRed and LeafGreen |
| 3e | Emerald |
| 4d | Diamond and Pearl |
| 4p | Platinum |
Default for this is 4d, Diamond and Pearl sprites. Qualifier #1 and qualifier #2 are extras just for the shiny sprites, gender differences, and the like. The file extension defaults to png, but if it is a sprite from Yellow, Crystal, or Emerald, it will need to be a gif. For coding reasons, when a sprite from these games is called, it needs to have no entries for the two qualifiers, most often, though a shininess qualifier will be needed for Crystal and Emerald to call the shiny sprite. Pikachu's Yellow Version sprite is called with {{Spr|025|1y|||gif}}, resulting in
.
