Why do we even have this page? "Xatu's Forest" isn't even a real place. J-J-M 21:13, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

It is real. It is an attraction. It has a page because it was the main location of DP140. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 21:17, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
No, it's not real. That entire "forest" was Natu's (or Xatu's) illusion. That circus is the only thing that's arguably real. J-J-M 21:24, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
It can also be argued that the illusion is the attraction itself. If I remember correctly, this theory can be backed up by Palmer, who said something about Xatu's Forest in the episode. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 21:28, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
But come on, it's not real. Most of what we know about the place (from the episode) may not be actually true since it's imaginary. For instance, how do we know it's only near Twinleaf Town? It surely could pop up in other places as well. And also, Palmer didn't say anything to confirm he knew of the place. J-J-M 21:38, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
But if we removed everything that isn't real, we wouldn't have an article on the nightmare in PMD2, even though it is very relevant to the plot (it reveals the main antagonist) and nightmares are as real as illusions. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 21:42, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
That could be excused since it's sort of a ability. But Xatu's forest is purely fictional. It wasn't even confirmed what exactly the place was. It could be an illusion, a dream, imagination etc. We really can't say anything about it.J-J-M 21:59, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
What can't be argued though, is that Ash, Dawn, and Barry went to it and that it was the main location of the episode. It can also be considered an ability if it is Xatu/Natu's creation. After all, the Japanese title does have mysterious forest in it. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 00:24, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Spearow

I think the pic is now wrong (updated in January 2013, probably remastered flashback). Marked +-+-+ (talk) 18:58, 16 August 2013 (UTC)

Nope, the pic was from the Xatu's Forest episode. If it does get replaced, then the image gets removed. PattyMan 19:35, 16 August 2013 (UTC)
