Talk:Weak Armor (Ability)

The flavour text and our description of what the ability does contradict each other. And the description isn't written very well. I'm thinking it should say: "Broken Armor causes physical attacks to lower the Pokémon's Defense and increase its Speed stat." I'm not sure about this, so I'll just leave it on the talk page for now. ^_^ 01:31, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

It's still ambiguous to me. Does the stat change happen when the user uses a physical move, or when a physical move is used against them? ~ Serial Colour 23:34, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Kudakeru is the protential form of kudaku, which means to break, so this ability should be Breakable Armor, not Broken Armor.Louisng114 06:44, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Sorry for replying to an old discussion but just in case someone decides to take this advice, kudaku is the transitive form which means "break (something)" as opposed to the intransitive kudakeru meaning "become broken". Kudakeru could also be the potential of kudaku but that would translate as "armor which could break (other things)", "breakable" is kudakerareru. Kanjo 23:30, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Mist

Is this ability affected in any way by Mist? EnosShayremTalk 09:13, 10 March 2013 (UTC)

It's answered here: "Mist [...] does not prevent the user or allied Pokémon from lowering their own stats".--Den Zen 10:32, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
