- I'd be interested to hear the pronunciation of Quaquaval in the anime or some other official source. The pronunciation of quaquaversal seems like it would be different from Quaquaval, which leads me to think it isn't intentional. Landfish7 07:48, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

- Quaxly looked like a mixture of huey/dewey/louie (from ducktales) and a sailor, so when i first saw quavaval's name, i pronounced it "qua-QUAY-vull" like "naval" (and still do to this day) bc i thought it was a sailor. honestly, id much prefer a sailor quaquaval over a gay duck.
