Who came with this strange name? I think her name is actually either Mary or Marie. Because her name is pronounced like these, not Mahri. I believe it's just a fanon spelling used just to distinguish her from other Marys. --Maxim 12:09, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Captions. Plus EToP. --Zeta 17:02, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

What's EToP? (Nevermind, I know it's Electric Tale of Pikachu, but she's known by Mary in that manga! I saw some scan. So, I know. And I also know that Rudy was misnamed Jeremy there :/ So, I doubt it's a good Source) And what do you mean by "Captions"? Closed Captionings? Where to get them? --Maxim 17:09, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Yes. I'm pretty sure the source for her name then, is the closed captions within the episode. To get the captions, you'd have to see the episode with the Closed Captions option turned on the televison you're watching it on. It's generally accepted as the source for several name spellings and names of otherwise unnamed characters, he Brendan's assistant. --Zeta 19:58, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Dengeki Pikachu / Surf's Up, Pikachu / Electric Tale of Pikachu - Name Spelling

Can someone check her name spelling in the manga (Dengeki Pikachu vol. 4 AKA Surf's Up, Pikachu in America or Electric Tale of Pikachu Vol. 4 in Singapore)? I still don't see how in the world her name is spelt "Mahri". --Maxim 07:25, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Kall for Klosed Kaptions!

I still believe that "Mahri" was just a gimmick made up by some fan not to have another Mary (we have like 5 of them) but I bet 10 smackers that her name is actually spelt either Mary, Marie or Mari, not "Mahri". The only way to check this is Closed Captions or DVD subtitles for this episode. Does anyone have them? --Maxim 10:07, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

I remember the captioning spelling the name "Mahri". There's a chance DVD subtitles might say something else, but given that we've only had one reported instance where CC and DVD subs differed, I doubt it...--Shiningpikablu252 16:26, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
But... Mahri? Seriously? --Maxim 16:28, 15 November 2008 (UTC)
The DVD box set CC also say it's 'Mahri'.--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 14:04, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
Oh, great. Welcome in 2017. --Maxim (talk) 14:17, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
You never edited this page to confirm that...--PannenkoekenNL (talk) 14:26, 18 June 2017 (UTC)
