Move

I believe the "Egg" title should just redirect to Pokémon Egg, the article readers will most likely be looking for. This article should then be at "Egg (item)". Nescientist (talk) 17:45, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

The articles are titled differently, and theres a lot of different egg related articles. The first thing in the article is a link to the Pokémon Egg page if people want the Pokémon egg which I think solves the problem. The way I see it its fine as is but if we do something and move it, then I think it's best to revert this page to a disambig as it once was. -- 4iamking (talk) 19:08, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

If the vast majority of people typing in "Egg" want to know about Pokémon Eggs, a redirect is the only solution that is adequate/useful; both a hatnote and a disambiguation only make it harder to get to the actual page they're looking for. "Egg" hasn't been a redirect for over a decade. I think a hatnote over at Pokémon Egg will suffice, to catch those few who actually want to know about that ingredient. Yeah I definitely think a search for "Egg" should redirect to Pokémon Egg, especially since people tend to link to Egg when they mean to link to Pokémon Egg. This has already become an issue that I am currently fixing. Landfish7 09:30, 18 January 2023 (UTC)

I agree with Egg redirecting to Pokémon Egg. It's a significantly more important part of the brand than one out of hundred sandwich ingredients. ^Maverick_Nate 09:34, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
