Interaction with Simple and Contrary

Stat boosts from Z-Moves are usually unaffected by Simple and Contrary, but that's because stat-boosting Z-Moves are not moves in their own right, but Z-Power Effects being added on to a status move's effect. Clangorous Soulblaze and Extreme Evoboost are exceptions, being treated as actual moves rather than mere modifiers; does that mean Clangorous Soulblaze is affected by Simple and Contrary? (Extreme Evoboost is affected by Simple and Contrary, according to its talk page.) --Luigifan 16:19, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

Does Throat Chop prevent the execution of Clangorous Soulblaze?

From what I can tell, Z-moves bypass conditions that would ordinarily prevent moves of their category and/or class from being selected and/or executed, such as Taunt and Heal Block, allowing the move to be used regardless. I'm curious to know whether this extends to Throat Chop being unable to prevent Clangorous Soulblaze from being executed. (I'm currently designing a sound-based Z-move of my own for one of my fakemon, so I need to know whether the general principle of Z-moves bypassing specific execution blocks such as Throat Chop extends to non-status Z-moves or not.) --Luigifan 21:45, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
