According to an interview with Shigeru Ohmori in the June 2015 issue of Nintendo Dream, Aster was a person with special powers who held the position of Lorekeeper before Zinnia[1], much like Aster in Pokémon Adventures. Checked the source, and on careful examination there is a screenshot, not a webpage, of an article with Zinnia. Plenty of trusted contributors on Bulbapedia speak Japanese. I trust that Tiddlywinks, who added it in the first place, either speaks Japanese themself or got the information from a trusted source. And may I say, I think it's really presumptuous of you to come barging in immediately removing things just because your inability to speak a language makes you unable to tell whether a source might not have the cited information in it. Question

The opening pparagraph states that she swears to Aster to protect the world. However, in the English verison, she says that she will protect Aster or something on that line. Since this is an English site, we should follow the English versio. For all we know, the translators may have made the change deliberatly for reasons of their own.
