PlusPower (Japanese: プラスパワー PlusPower) is a Goods card. It was first released in Base Set as a Trainer card.
Card text (Base Set print)
| Attach PlusPower to your Active Pokémon. At the end of your turn, discard PlusPower. If this Pokémon's attack does damage to the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance), the attack does 10 more damage to the Defending Pokémon.
|
Card text (Diamond & Pearl print)
| Attach PlusPower to 1 of your Pokémon. Discard this card at the end of your turn.
If the Pokémon PlusPower is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Release information
This card originated in the Base Set with artwork by Keiji Kinebuchi. It was reprinted in the Base Set 2 reprint set, which was only released outside of Japan. It was also reprinted with updated text and new artwork by Ryo Ueda in Diamond & Pearl, Secret Wonders and Platinum. The key difference between these two prints is that the original print applied it's effect after applying Weakness and Resistance, while the later print applied the effect before applying Weakness and Resistance. It was reprinted in the Raichu Starter Deck with new artwork by Takashi Yamaguchi. The Japanese release of this print was reclassified as a Goods card, but the English did not adopt this name and continued classifying it as a Trainer card. It was then reprinted in the Reviving Legends expansion with new artwork by Ryo Ueda.

Trivia
Origin
PlusPower is the Japanese name of X Attack, an item in the Pokémon games. The Japanese name of the item was either used for the English card by mistake, or used intentionally as 'PlusPower' is inscribed on the side of the object in the card's original artwork.
