Release information

This card was included in the English Black & White expansion, first released in the Japanese Beginning Set. It was reprinted as a Confetti Holofoil in the McDonald's Collection available in North America during June 2011. In Japan, it was later included in the Beginning Set + and Beginning Set Pikachu Version.

The Height on the McDonald's Collection print is mistakenly printed as 3'07" instead of the correct 3'03".

Mega Drain and Pin Missile are both moves in the Pokémon games that Maractus can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black.
