Card text

Flip 2 coins. This attack does 10 damage times the number of heads.
Does 20 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on the Defending Pokémon.

This card was reprinted in the Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection reprint sets, which were only released outside of Japan.


  • The English version of this card's illustration had the color of Jynx's face changed from black to purple due to the blackface controversy in subsequent reprints.
  • The English version of this card was the first to not take its Pokédex entry from any of the prior games.


Double Slap and Meditate are both moves in the Pokémon games. Jynx can learn Double Slap, though it was incapable of learning Meditate until Generation II, via breeding. This card's Japanese Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
