Yes, it is missing one in the third section, and I am usually up the same hours my time, starting at arount 7:00, out around 11, should be back by 1300, and probably up until aforementioned times @ home.  I will post when I am ready, let me know what hours you can't do, and we're good. Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Theininen!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:Theininen/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! TESHIGIGAS 486 16:22, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I know that you aren't supposed to mess with the welcome, but how do you do the é thing? I know that it is supossed to work, but I've tried the Alt + 130 and Alt + 0233 things, and they don't work. I can do it using the bar @ the bottom, just an accuracy thing. Theininen 16:34, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Theininen's Talk Page

This is my talk page! Feel free to comment on my edits or page.

Btw, I operate in UTC-4, or something, NY time, so that's when I'll be on (just subtract 4 hours from the UTC time for my time, & use the "My Prefrences" at the top of the page to see how you differ from UTC, and compare the two to get the difference.) -Theininen 00:47, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

CHALLENGE

I am issuing an open challenge! I will accept any challenge against my best team (to be posted on my homepage) that is posted on my board with a Friend code, and will post the time in NY local time that I will be online waiting for the challenger. I will post victories and losses, along with challengers' names, on my board.

I will accept your challenge but for nearer the weekend, still got some training to do - let me know any rules you want to enforce (No Ubers etc) and your PBR or D/P friend code and I'll let you know my team & my friend code once I know the platform / rules. Also I'm 5 hrs infront of you (I think) GMT+1hr PhantomCX 11:49, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

No rules, but NO ridiculous hacks (Sableye with Wonder Guard, psychocotic stats, etc.), I'll battle with all Lv. 100's advise you to do the same (if you can't, I can figure out something else to do), I don't need to know your team, and I won't tell mine (as I won't know until the battle myself), and I only have Pearl, my code is 2449 2722 7683, and I should be able to battle sometime between 2 and 2:45 (my time, I think 7 to 7:45 yours, but to confirm, this post was edited at 8:33 my time, check listed post time for confirmation)). Keep an eye on this talk, I'll let you know when I can. Theininen 00:36, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok no problem I’ll give you my D/P code tonight / tomorrow AM. I think I’m 4hrs ahead (this is being posting at 0910am my time) as for the teams that fair enough Ibut just to warn you I will be usining UBERS unless you spciffically don't want me to. Also - if there are any Pokemon that can be breed you want, I have at least one form of all Pokemon and am willing to breed these for trading (see User:PhantomCX/Operation ALP for more details) - it may only be a level one basic / baby, but at least you can then level it up etc PhantomCX 08:21, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Ubers are fine, but I can't battle until 4 or later my time (9 or later urs, sorry) but I will post when I am ready, add my page to your watchlist so you know when I edit on. Theininen 23:16, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Already have no worries just give me about 3 days notice so I can make sure my team is ready - forgot my friend code too (Damn!!!!) so I'll put it on tonight PhantomCX 07:21, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Saturday 5/17, 8:00 my time (13:00 yours) should be fine. If not, 14:00 or later my time, 19:00 or later yours, same day, should be fine by me. Let me know early, post friend code, and I'll post when I'm ready. Theininen 20:11, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok how dose 2300 my time sound (6pm yours) this Saturday? I gotta get that friend code still, I keep forgetting it will post it later. PhantomCX 08:32, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

I think I should be able to. As for friend code, next time you come on, just TURN ON YOUR DS, even if you have to run and get it mid-post. Theininen 21:09, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

I edit on Bulba at work most of the time & my DS is at home - not to worry mind fried code is 1160 9698 202, I will double check that cause it looks like I'm a number short & if it is I'll up date tonight from home. Trades

I will accept trades offered here, post what the Pokémon is and other relevant info (Lvl, Shiny, m/f, etc.) about it here or a Pokémon you want from me (same info), and I will respond with an offer, or make open offers to others. -Theininen 03:06, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Offering shiny Deoxys, shiny Carvanha, or Lv. 100 Blaziken, Metagross, Salamence, Flygon, Milotic, or Rayquaza for ANY shiny Pokémon. Theininen 20:30, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

Problem

About the thing that you asked Archaic.... Actually none of us can edit our user namespace. A lot of the users in the site are making a lot of edits only to their user namespace which is really not good. The admins decided to block that so the users would start making edits to the main namespace. The blocking is only temporary though. It's a server test to see how much it'll reduce load, actually. Unfortunately, it's not doing much. TTEchidnaFire echy 19:41, 26 March 2008 (UTC)
Theininen 21:00, 26 March 2008 (UTC)Thanks for telling me, I thought that it was something I had done. Do you have any idea when I will be able to? I want to make a signature and fix that link on my homepage :P

My Customs

When the testing of the server ends, click here for my custom Pokéstuff (Pokémon, Poké Balls, etc.), it's pretty cool. -Theininen 21:33, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Yanmega...

I almost forgot Yanmega ever existed...

AKgirl22:46, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

He's one of my favorites. No offense taken though. Theininen 01:01, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Shines

Actually... eh, I like all of the shinies I have... TTEchidna 02:01, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Could you clone them? -Theininen 02:09, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Deoxys

I suspect it is a hack as these characters are not normally input into the system. Ask your friend where he got the Deoxys from. If it wasn't at an event, probably a hack. Optimatum♏Talk|02:07 30 Mar 2008

I don't remember who I got it from, as it was at a summer camp, but as it seems to be otherwise normal, I will gve it the benefit of the doubt and assume that its original trainer was either extremely lucky, or had the time to turn their GBA on and off several times until they encountered it as a shiny. If I use it in a battle with someone and they see that it knows something or can do something it shouldn't be able to, please let me know. Theininen 00:58, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Nonexistant Games

Please do not create articles about Pokémon games that do not exist. We could care less if Nintendo trademarks their names, if there's no game to a name, there's no article to it either. Make one more article about a Pokémon game that doesn't exist and I'll lower the boom. Hard. --Shiningpikablu252 00:57, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

Six-month block. Just because there are rumblings about Topaz, Amethyst, Whitegold, or Tourmaline, that doesn't mean those games actually exist. You were warned to stop making articles about Pokémon games that do not exist. Since you responded by making an article about a nonexistant Moonstone version, obviously you didn't listen.

Bulbapedia takes the Pokémon game canon very seriously, and we don't need articles about rumored names clogging up the place. If we responded to every rumor we hear about, we'd have an article at Dawn's Swinub about what could be a movie COTD's Swinub, the Ash's Gligar article would be at Ash's Gliscor even though the Gliscor could be Paul's or a COTD's, and all the rumblings about changes to May's team for her reapperance would result in articles at May's Glaceon, May's Wartortle, and May's Snorlax.

Please take this next six months to sort out the facts from fiction, rumors, and speculation. --Shiningpikablu252 01:06, 19 April 2008 (UTC)

OK, after some criticism, including some people believing six months to be a bit extreme, I've decided to reduce your block to six weeks. --Shiningpikablu252 01:29, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
After several attempts, I managed to tell someone that it was an accident(see Shiningpikablu252's talk for full story) and have returned. I will try to be more careful about what I do in the future. Theininen 23:52, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome Back

Welcome Back to Bulbapedia Theininen!

As a newly unblocked user, you may wish to relearn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • Keep an eye on the Messages from the Editor on the main page, to stay informed on current events on Bulbapedia.
  • The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon or other media.
  • For a future capture, release, trade, or evolution of a Pokémon belonging to a main character of the anime, please do not create or move the page to reflect your suspicions, even if they are shared by many others. Policy here is to wait until the episode in which the event happens takes place is aired, unless there is substantial evidence for the suspicion (such as Brock's Happiny being held in his arms).
  • Image uploading is done on Bulbagarden Archives, a separate wiki accessible through the toolbox in the sidebar. You will have to register separately for it, as well. This is done so that both Bulbapedia and Bulbanews have access to the images uploaded.
  • If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:Theininen/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
  • Having said this, please make sure that you do contribute adequately to the main namespace. Bulbapedia is not MySpace or Facebook.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here!--KukiTalk 20:11, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Do you have Num Lock on? Turn it on, then use the numbers on the number pad. At least, that's how my computer does it; it's a notebook, so the number pad is sort of hidden in the rest of the keyboard... --Martonimos((Talk)) 07:27, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok, it works. Thanks. Theininen 20:12, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

To begin with: FINALLY!!!!!
