Your trivia

Has been less than satisfactory, I hate to tell you. Much of it is unnotable or incorrect and I had to revert most of your edits. Also, Please understand the difference between game mechanics and anime mechanics before you write down something as an error. The Pink Butterfree is no way shape or form an error. It existed way before gender differences and shiny Pokémon were created. They animators can't foretell the future.

And when you see a piece of trivia or an error that is incorrect and is stated in the article, just remove it. Don't put "Actually the first piece of trivia is incorrect" directly in the article as that is very unprofessional. If you want so say something is incorrect, please go to the talk page of the article.

One more thing, please be sure you put trivia in the correct article. Duplica and Lt. Surge's nicknames for Ash belong in their articles, not the episode articles.

If you have read the Code of Conduct, you would see that she was doing the opposite and trying to help you with editing on our site. Something we admins approve of. In fact, she is also an admin trying to help you. So please do not say she is violating the code of conduct because she is doing the opposite. Since you wanted me to go in detail on why I reverted your edits, I wrote an explanation here:

• Your edit to EP021

This is false. Ash first cried in the very first episode and then again in Here Comes the Squirtle Squad

• Your edit to Snow Way Out

Unnotable as Ash cries a lot. So it isn't "one of the rare instances".

• Your edit to EP056

Nurse Joy's cross changes color in each city. It isn't always red. And the reason that Todd is called "Snap" is mentioned on Todd's page. As I said, it doesn't need to be pointed out in the article.

• Your edit to EP037

1. Duplica's nickname for Ash belongs on Duplica's page, not the episode article.
2. You were making a reference to RocketShipping. RocketShipping is not canon in the anime and should not be mentioned on the main pages.
3. Again, you are pointing out incorrect trivia on the page itself when you should have consulted the talkpage. And the trivia isn't wrong anyway. It's says "This is the first time that Ash and his friends mock Team Rocket's motto completely." They only said the beginning in EP021.
4. Maybe that could have stayed, but I think it is already mentioned on Duplica's Ditto's article.

• Your edit to EP012

That didn't seem notable to me, personally. And I think it is in the episode summary somewhere.

• Your edit to EP020

1. You don't need to point out when a Pokémon shares the same voice actor with a human. That's what the voice actors articles are for.
2. Games =/= Anime, therefor it is not an error. Ghost Pokémon possess unique powers that are non existent in the games.

I explained about the nickname and Brock never flirts with Nurse Joy during an emergency situation. He's done this multiple times in future episodes.

Okay, I'll go through your criticisms in order.

My edit to EP021 and Snow Way Out!

I'm assuming this a problem with semantics once again. By "shedding tears," I don't mean getting watery eyes (like what happens when Ash is lying on the ground with Pikachu or when Pikachu licks Ash's face in the first episode). This obviously happens a lot, I agree. By "shedding tears," I mean tears that actually fall down your cheeks or out of your eyes, such as what happens to Ash during really emotional moments like in "Bye Bye Butterfree," "Pikachu's Goodbye," and "Snow Way Out!". Do you see what I mean now?

Whoa, okay. I just rechecked the squirtle squad episode, and yeah, Ash does shed tears there in the cave. My mistake. I completely forgot about that part. --ShalashaskaADV 20:21, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

My edit to EP056

Does it really change color with each city? In EP078, where Brock's going crazy with all the Nurse Joy's and Officer Jenny's running around, the Celadon City and Saffron City Nurse Joys have red crosses. I just checked EP002, and the Viridian City Joy has a red cross. Oh, the Joy from Pewter city has a bluish cross in EP005--I didn't notice that before. Perhaps that would be good trivia for EP005; that is, if you still disagree that most of the Joys have red crosses. What do you think?

Yes, I did make a reference to Rocketshipping in my second sentence, "Apparently, It's not James." Could we just remove the second sentence and leave the first?

I see. It's another problem with semantics: I thought the person meant Ash, Misty, and Brock completely mocked the motto instead of mocked the whole motto. I think this trivia fact should be rewritten more clearly to avoid this confusion. How does "This is the first time that Ash and his friends mock the whole Team Rocket motto" sound?

My edit to EP012

I checked the episode summary, and it says Team Rocket were carrying ice guns. While it's true Jessie's bazooka fired off an ice bomb, there wasn't any proof that James' weapon was similar. In fact, what's interesting is that you see James holding the automatic weapon when he's robbing the store, but as Team Rocket is leaving and Jessie fires her weapon, James' weapon is missing; he's carrying the robbed goods instead. I think this is very notable, since it makes you wonder why the whole episode wasn't censored due to all the guns, explosions, and crime. Wouldn't you say?

My edit to EP020

All right, fine.

I agree: the games are different from the anime. However, even in the anime it is an error because other Gastly don't share the same abilities; that is, they can't talk or do those transformations, which makes the Gastly in that episode very special. But like we agreed on before, this is just a semantics problem like with the Pink Butterfree. Everyone (Ash, the others in the episode, and the storywriters) was aware of this, so it isn't an error.

My edit to EP014

I agree with you now about the nickname. But even before the emergency happens (i.e. before the Rattata and its trainer came rushing in), Brock isn't blushing or flirting with Nurse Joy like he usually does. Also, when she said she thought she was the prettiest Nurse Joy, Brock didn't seem all that eager to convince her that she was. He just replied with a "Yeah."

One thing I might add is that when post your response please try to make it as short as possible and avoid using unnecessary words considering it is too time consuming and difficult to read through all those minature paragraphs and it clutters up talk pages. Also if when I write longer messages I make sure to use the preview button to help carefully read and monitor my words and links carefully to reduce grammar errors as much as possible. What I meant by that is re-reading over your work since there is sometimes bound an error when writing longer and more complex messages, kinda like how I wrote episode summaries (on different sites) and then checked my work to reduce the amount of mistakes. -Tyler53841 09:10, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
