Farfetch'd

If anything, a Farfetch'd evo should be a Normal/Dark or Dark/Flying ninja. User:TTEchidna/sig 05:39, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

i like the idea, but im not sure where you are comming from...you mean how he is very elusive and attacks with a stick like a sword? File:Ani081MS.gifMAGNEDETHFile:Ani082MS.gifTARIDNEDOPTFile:Ani462MS.gif 05:45, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes, the leek would become a sword. User:TTEchidna/sig 06:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
i dont think parents would like that, a Pokemon with a sword? File:Ani081MS.gifMAGNEDETHFile:Ani082MS.gifTARIDNEDOPTFile:Ani462MS.gif 06:14, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
It'd be a leek that looks more like a sword. And that's no more violent than a Pokémon with boxing gloves or one that can pretty much shoot missiles. User:TTEchidna/sig 06:35, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
alright, i like it, a Dark/Flying, keep the name i got, or what do you think? User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 06:39, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Screw the parents, we have Scyther and is anyone going on about that? No. -Mudkipchan 06:41, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Ninjetch'd? It just fits. User:TTEchidna/sig 06:47, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
oooh, i like that. also, i think Mudkipchan put that comment in the wrong section.. User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 06:53, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

ネギニンジ Negininja would be its Japanese name, from カモネギ Kamonegi. User:TTEchidna/sig 07:46, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

um.....sure? User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:50, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Babies

There should be a baby Pokémon that can evolve into either Miltank and Tauros. Maybe one for the Volbeat... guys too. -Mudkipchan 05:41, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

And a baby Kangaskhan would definitely be both genders, and males would become Kangaskirk. User:TTEchidna/sig 05:42, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
i like the miltank/tauros idea, im not so sure about the Volbeat one (maybe thats because i dont like them) File:Ani081MS.gifMAGNEDETHFile:Ani082MS.gifTARIDNEDOPTFile:Ani462MS.gif 05:45, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes to male Kangaskhan and baby, they would both solve the missing link of Kangaskhan. Why Game Freak, why must you torment us! And I don't like Volbeat too. :P -05:48, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
alright, a male Kahn it is, but what to name it? i like the idea of "Kirk" but that doesnt really fit the evo line name. unless i changed the baby to "Kangasroo" or somthing. File:Ani081MS.gifMAGNEDETHFile:Ani082MS.gifTARIDNEDOPTFile:Ani462MS.gif 06:03, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
You do know the reference is to Star Trek, right? Kirk was the one who said KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!. User:TTEchidna/sig 06:10, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Kirk is also a name for a boy, of course. :P Mudkipchan 06:13, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
well, i know Kirk, and i know the Kahn line, but not everyone knows that, and it still wouldnt look right. itd be a damn good nickname though File:Ani081MS.gifMAGNEDETHFile:Ani082MS.gifTARIDNEDOPTFile:Ani462MS.gif 06:14, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
My opinion, Kangaskhan should of never been able to breed. That would of solved this whole mess. But I guess it's too late for that. --File:048MS.gifケンジFile:183MS.gifガールFile:123MS.gif 06:52, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
maybe ill add that to my other page User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:04, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
I object. If Kangaskhan couldn't breed, then it still wouldn't explain where the child came from in fact it would probably raise even more questions. Mudkipchan 07:05, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
thats an even better point. i think the real prob was that they made it a female only with no male, it makes me wonder how they ever exsisted at all!! User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:07, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
No the real problem is not the gender. When a Kangaskhan is born.. as soon as it comes out of the egg, it is an adult that is already bearing another kid. Mudkipchan 07:14, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
What I meant was that the players can't breed them. Maybe Kangaskhan could have mated in secrecy. You know, the same as legendary Pokémon. We can't breed them but there's no doubt that they can mate. Just not in front of humans. There is that baby Lugia in the anime. --File:Ani048MS.gifケンジFile:Ani183MS.gifガールFile:Ani123MS.gif 07:18, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Let the debate begin. :P Joking. Well that is possible... But the Lugias just made me go "Meh." when I first watched the episodes surrounding the two, just being honest here. But I'll give you credit that you do have a point here. But now that Game Freak has made the kanga breedable... that missing link just appeared. And before anyone asks, yes I am too lazy to use my sig. Mudkipchan 07:23, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
yea, im def putting that on my do over page... User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:21, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

New Evolutions

You know, the name of the new doesn't always have to match the old. Examples of Pokémon who's names don't have much in common.

  1. Tyrogue = Hitmon...
  2. Caterpie = Metapod = Butterfree
  3. Ekans = Arbok
  4. Oddish = Gloom = Vileplume or Bellosom
  5. Meowth = Persian
  6. Geodude = Graveler = Golem
  7. Ponyta = Rapidash
  8. Magikarp = Gyrados
  9. Nuzleaf = Shiftry
  10. Wingull = Pelipper
  11. Ralts = Kirlia = Ga...
  12. Shroomish = Breloom
  13. Burmy = Wormadam or Mothim
  14. Skorupi = Drapion

So vary a little okay?User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 07:00, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

good point, I'm just a stickler for that stuff. it always bothered me when Pokémon evolutions didn't have similar cries in the games User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:06, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
One more thing i can't stand. Pinsir is a pun on Pincer. There is no such thing as a Clawcer. Only a Claw.User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 07:07, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
i did make a note "the name needs work" that being said, what do you think? and do you like the idea of a Bug/Dark type? User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:10, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Well I love darkness. What do you think you're gonna name it? Clark? Claw and Dark. {This is not funny and is not meant to be funny)User:Pokemaniac102/Sig 07:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
wow, if it were real, "Clark" would be the best nickname ever. could go the generic route and say "Darklaw" or something User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:13, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Hey, Crushir might be a good name.--Pokencyclopedia 22:21, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

For Gen II, III, IV

I think a Houndoom evo would be cool. Also a baby form of Absol. And of course a Pachirisu evo. Maybe it could be a flying squirrel and become Electric/Flying.

Anyway, great choices so far. Can't wait to see more --File:Ani048MS.gifケンジFile:Ani183MS.gifガールFile:Ani123MS.gif 07:08, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Pachirisu flying squirrel, thats a really good one, ill get one that one. as for Houndoom? idk, hes pretty awesome, ill think about it. User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:11, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Throw it off a cliff LOL!! That's a good one. Have you ever thought of different Eeveelutions? --File:Ani048MS.gifケンジFile:Ani183MS.gifガールFile:Ani123MS.gif 22:23, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
I'm all for the idea of a Pachirisu evo, but I'd prefer it to be a pure Electric-type with the Levitate ability.--Pokencyclopedia 22:34, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Also, I think that Rotom could use an evolved form. It would basically be more like Pulseman.--Pokencyclopedia 22:34, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

why would there be a reason for Levitating Pachirisu? a flying squirrel is a real thing. as for Rotom, yea, i was thinking about it, give folks a reason to have to wait until after the E4 to get him. also, i probably wont do Eeveelutions, theres no real work involved in them, just copy and paste types and stats, and give it a generic name. Drageon, Steeleon, Toxeon, etc..User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 23:56, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
I don't know. I just like the idea of a pure-Electric type.--Pokencyclopedia 01:47, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
well, theres 20 other pure Eelctric-types, im sure almost all of them are better than Pachirisu.. User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 02:06, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
With Levitate, it wouldn't have any weaknesses. File:Ani164MS.gifShiny Noctowl  02:23, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
my stance on flying squirrel stands. User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 02:47, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Flying squirrels don't actually fly, they just glide. File:Ani164MS.gifShiny Noctowl  02:52, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
I'm for the Flying-type Pachirisu. Why? Cause. No weaknesses are just hax, man. User:TinaTheKirlia/Sig 02:54, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
i agree, i dispise Sableye and Spiritomb, and thats comming from a hacker! User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 02:56, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

Separating the charts?

Why not do that, for evos and prevos? Prevos get one section, evos get another. User:TTEchidna/sig 07:19, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

the idea had come to me, i suppose ill do it tomorrow, its almost 3:00AM User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Oh boy, three AM! *grabs a burger and chomps on it* User:TTEchidna/sig 07:37, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
well, i have no idea what that was about, but i do have a full time job and i get up at 7, so, i think ill be going now....btw, thanks for cleaning up my page. User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 07:43, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Speedix

How about this. Speedix could be Steel and Dark type, with Dark being the secondary type. I mean think about it, a giant metal drill that moves around on its own seems more like a dual Dark type to me. And it must learn Horn Drill of course. :P Mudkipchan 17:56, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

i like the idea, but, if hes digging around underground, i think itd make more sence to be ground-type. btw, please tell me you have an idea for a better name, this one is killing me. User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 17:59, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
True that. But Pokemon can't have three typing anyhow.... and battle-wise, he would probably get a 4x weakness to Fighting if he were Steel and Dark type. :P Mudkipchan 18:04, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
I dunno. I always thought that Onix needed a pre-evolution. Onix is WAY to big to be an unevolved Pokémon. Satoshi Tajiri managed to avoid making a pre-evolution for Rhyhorn by giving Rhydon an evolution, and I'd hate for that to happen with Onix.Pokencyclopedia 21:21, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
thats a really good point...hows about Speedix be an alternative to Onix? (like bellossom) User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 21:26, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Mawile

Evolve The Kucheat! And don't name it Bawile. DO NOT. Or else I will harm you. REALLY. REALLY. BADLY. User:TTEchidna/sig 07:38, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

that would be terrible, and it does need an evolution User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 18:02, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
toss me some ideas here User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 20:38, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Sableye

There should be an evolution of Sableye if there's an evolution of Mawile! And it should have Wonder Guard. File:Ani164MS.gifShiny Noctowl  21:30, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

yes to evolution, no to Wonder Guard..hehe User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 21:46, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
Why shouldn't it have Wonder Guard? File:Ani164MS.gifShiny Noctowl  21:51, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
You can see some of my other ideas here. File:Ani164MS.gifShiny Noctowl  21:53, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Didn't I already explain to you why NO Wonder Guard? Because a Dark/Ghost type Pokemon has no weakness, and one having Wonder Guard would be entirely unfair and IILEGAL in the metagame. Goodness. Mudkipchan 22:28, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Breloom

I think there should be an evolution of breloom, with less weaknesses. Just spitballing. --133Darth196Cookie197Monster471 01:11, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

idk, theres not much that can be done there. Breloom is a Grass/Fighting type. theres been no pokemon that gains a type, then gets rid of it. if anything, i was considering a middle evolution because Shroomish is some tiny blob with no limbs and suddenly its a full size FIGHTING type! it didnt even have arms before!! User:MAGNEDETH/Sig 06:17, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
Never any middle-intermediate evos, and besides... why mess with it when the final product is the same...? User:TTEchidna/sig 07:45, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
