About the stars in the Sinnoh Trainer Card
Are you sure that you need to win a Master rank ribbon in all Contests in order to have a star in the Trainer card? Me and my sister have won only one Master rank ribbon and now we have a star in our Trainer card --DarkSally(complaints department) 11:33, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Kanto Trainer Card
Something is missing or wrong about Kanto's Trainer Card. It says the if the player have fou stars, the TC will turn gold in color, however there are only Three ways of getting stars listed. Anyone knows the fourth? Mr. Charlie 14:31, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Shining Leaves

Diamond and Pearl Trainer Card Vs Platinum Trainer Card

White 2: Blue trainer card after beating Elite Four
I seem to still have a blue trainer card in Pokémon White Version 2 even after defeating the Elite Four. According to the article, I should have a green card. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 00:21, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
X and Y trainer card.
Before I completed my National Dex on Pokemon Y, my trainer card was Blue. But after I completed my National Pokedex, it was Silver. (This was after seeing all Mythical Pokemon also) Mr.Anonymous (talk) 05:11, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
Why are Black, White, Black 2, White 2, X and Y on here?
I'm not too sure about the gen V games since I never played them but it looks like they don't have stars and I know X/Y doesn't have stars on the card either. It makes no sense for them to be on this article. Yamitora1 (talk) 02:16, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

- Functionally, the lack of stars doesn't make any difference. The Trainer card upgrades (changes colors) when you achieve certain feats. That remains the same. At best, you might be able to argue that the article should be titled differently. Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:24, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

- This information is from bluesun, who I believe got it from the Japanese guidebook:
- You need 706 Pokemon for National Pokédex completion; Deoxys is counted, but no other Mythical Pokémon
- Rayquaza, Jirachi and Deoxys aren't counted towards Hoenn Pokédex completion --SnorlaxMonster 07:57, 16 December 2014 (UTC)
ORAS stars question
you sure that with beating a least once the Elite Four the card upgrade one color?
the only moment that my card change is when i beat one of the Battle Chatelaines and only change to bronce after that

Personally, I think that this entire page should be a subsection on the Trainer Card page. It's easier to follow and makes more sense that way. --LavaringX (talk) 10:10, 16 December 2018 (UTC)
- I would also like to add that the Trainer Passport stamps are a subsection of the Trainer Card page, which makes no sense given that these trainer stars aren't. I also agree with Abcboy in that said subsection should be called "trainer levels". --LavaringX (talk) 02:51, 29 December 2018 (UTC)
Regarding the Black/White Trainer Card
I have recently been going through the entire series, completing EVERYTHING. However, I have yet to unlock the Black/White Trainer Card in Pokémon Black or White, and frankly, I believe that's because that particular card doesn't exist. The chart claims that one way of increasing your card rank is by defeating Subway Bosses Ingo and Emmet in the Super Singles and Super Doubles Trains, respectively, in the Battle Subway. I have done this AND defeated them simultaneously in the Super Multi Train, and my card did not change. Instead, for each Super Train Boss I defeated, I was given a trophy, a total of 3 rewarded and placed in my bedroom in Nuvema Town. On top of this, when I received the Gold card in either game, the Pokémon Center Nurse would acknowledge my achieving that particular rank, something that in previous games would only happen upon reaching the highest rank on your card. I am well aware that the chart is based off information taken from Serebii's website, and I mean no offense to the guy, but I believe he may, in fact, had been misinformed when uploading data on the Trainer Card ranks in Black/White. After all, his site also says you need to obtain every Entralink Pass Power, when in reality, you have to raise your Entree's Black and White Levels to 30. Yes, you also unlock every Pass Power by doing this, but you still need to pay for them with Pass Orbs, and their effects are only temporary. I haven't started on Black 2/White 2 yet, so I cannot say whether or not the Black/White Trainer Card exists in those games, though I do plan on looking into it.--Knowitall (talk) 09:20, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
