Don't use single-character sort keys. - 振霖T 01:37, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Just a thought DD, do you want credit for the images you sent me when I upload them? nuva-kal 13:08, 27 June 2007 (BST)

Shining Darkness

Thanks for backing me up. I don't know why it is so hard for people to see the connection between the English and Japanese sets, and why I got such a bad reaction from Pikablu. He hasn't replied, so I seem to have put him in his place. Thanks again! nuva-kal 18:30, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

DP4

I think your new method may be the way to go, I certainly didn't anticipate that the English release would be split again, which is why I created the DP4 page the way I did. So I guess the situation will be similar to the e-card series, since DP5 in Japan has two sub-sets again and we will have six sets when this block finishes. So the plan is to have the sets like this as separate pages:

  • Moonlit Pursuit/Dawn Dash in Japanese exclusive
  • Great Encounters in DP era releases
  • Temple of Anger/Cry of the Mysterious in Japanese exclusive
  • English DP5 in DP era releases
  • English DP6 in DP era releases

With Temple of Anger/Cry of the Mysterious in the same format as your proposed Moonlit Pursuit/Dawn Dash, right? nuva-kal 14:21, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

About a recent large edit on one of your pages...

That was me bringing in the full list I had put in the sandbox. This way, nobody has to fumble with that list when it comes time to put the plan into action. I hope you understand. --Shiningpikablu252 18:31, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Yup, that's absolutely no problem. :) Both the Moonlit Pursuit/Dawn Dash and new Great Encounters pages will be ready at some point tomorrow - if not, Monday. Double Dash 21:44, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky

I fear a move war may break out over the title's translation. At least one person thinks the title should be "Fierce Fighting in Broken Space", but Shiny Noctowl reverted it without hesitation, citing Pokébeach (where the original "Moon Hunting" and "Night Dashing" came about). Since you're the expert in sets not yet released in America but will be, can you settle things down before a move war breaks out? Thanks. --Shiningpikablu252 00:07, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh, hell. IFDS is definitely the most accurate translation; anything else is just fancied-up. Is there any way to protect the page from being moved (at least until we know the English name)? Cipher 07:50, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Template:TCG Expansions

Sunain's actions left me no choice. Any further TCG developments for that infobox will have to go through me or TTEchidna, as will further information for Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky. I hate to have to inconvenience you like this, but these things happen sometimes. --Shiningpikablu252 21:12, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you for fixing Template:C, I went ahead and fixed the Houndour in Unseen Forces as well. MoldyOrange 14:58, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

No problem, happy to help. Cipher 16:06, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Mamoswine

Hey thanks for the mamoswine thing!--Arceusguy 19:21, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey, how come?--Arceusguy 14:27, 2 August 2008 (UTC)
Oh okay, sorry. So you contribute to Pokebeach? - unsigned comment from Arceusguy (talkcontribs)
oh okay thanks for the tip--Arceusguy 05:24, 3 August 2008 (UTC)

Signature

You know, I think all you do here is great. You're our resident Japanese/English TCG expert, and we'd have some problems without that kind of knowledge. However, despite that, I'm obligated to tell you that, per the signature policy, signing as "Cipher" is inappropriate. Your sig must reflect your usename, so please change it to reflect that. Signing as "DD" would be appropriate... :D --ニョロトノ666 20:22, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Okay, thanks very much for letting me know. I read in the editor messages that name changes weren't allowed, I guess this is still the case? (Thanks for the compliment too, I really appreciate it.) Double Dash 21:30, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
This is pretty funny. Now that you've changed your username to Cipher, you've gotta sign as Cipher, not Double Dash! :D --ニョロトノ666 21:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Am I still signing as Double Dash? Double Dash 21:40, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Crap! I'll change that. XD
There we go. All better now. =D Cipher 21:44, 20 August 2008 (UTC) (See? ^_^)

Why

Why do you put the vertical pipes at the beginning of the templates and infobox coding when they belong at the end of each line? MoldyOrange 13:41, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

They don't belong at the end of each line, they can go either at the start or the end of the line. I edited Wikipedia for a long time before I came here, and that's just how I put infoboxes together. Double Dash 13:44, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
I guess I only ever saw them at the end, If it doesn't change anything, then I guess it doesn't matter. MoldyOrange 18:20, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Rename

Your accounts on Bulbapedia and Archives have been renamed. You should remerge your accounts. - 振霖T 10:59, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

I added that Flannery's Jap name is an anagram for sauna. Can u expand for me? I'm gonna b inactive til Saturday in about 15-20 minutes.--KukiTalk 15:53, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

...Uh, what? Cipher 16:06, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Preparation for tomorrow

Since POP Series 8 is coming out tomorrow, there will be a couple of things we need to do. First off, it is highly likely that these cards will be coming from the "DP-P" Promotional cards. I am sending this message to anyone who would probably be the ones making the cards. Make sure that the articles aren't already made under the DP-P promo name, we can just move these and revise and it will be a lot less work. Also, the disambig's. will need to be changed, and redirects will need to be created. Just saying this so that everyone knows what is going on and that the couple of pages might already be named under something else.

On a somewhat related note, you have a habit of letting links like "Pokémon(TCG)" when it should be "Pokémon (TCG)". I know they are accidents, but try yor best to keep them from happening. MoldyOrange 22:58, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

lol

Your username was the one I was originally going for. When I found it had been taken, instead of my favorite team, I took my (then) favorite Pokémon. Just thought you'd like that bit of trivia. Gligar 01:51, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Reverse holos

Why are they bad? I would think that if they are easy to read, then they should still be able to be used. The point of having the image is for the artwork not the text. Now, ones that are extremely difficult shouldn't be used, but ones that are easy to read still should stay. MoldyOrange 22:39, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

It's not that it's a bad image, per se. I understand your point, I just think we should try to use regular variants wherever possible when it comes to DP. Reverse holos from the EX series, I don't tag, because they look fine. The DP reverse holo effect makes the card look a hell of a lot different, though, so I don't think it's a true reflection of the card compared to the regular variant. Cipher 10:37, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Oy!

You've been nominated for administratorship! By me! Use this on your page. --ニョロトノ666 21:00, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Wow, that means a heck of a lot. Thanks very much. =D Cipher 21:14, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

I need your assistance...

I think I may have found two missing half decks/gift sets/deck kits that we may have missed somewhere and I want to know if you are willing to find more information and create the page(s). From what I could find out, it was released around the time of EX Unseen Forces was in Japan, possibly April 2005? The set symbols are this: File:Ic pokepark blue.gif and File:Ic pokepark forest.gif, and all the cards have the PokéPark symbol on it. The first card of PokéPark blue is here [1], and the last of PokéPark Forest is here: [2]. Could you do this? From my knowledge, These cards in English were released in POP Series 2, EX Unseen Forces, and EX Emerald. All the ones released in English were from PokéPark Blue, and all the cards from PokéPark Forest are PokéPark's Pokémon, hence, not released in English, but most were also released in the "PCG-P" Promotional cards. If you could do this, I thank you in advance! MoldyOrange 18:41, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

I'll do some digging tomorrow, aye. Cipher 20:57, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
I would like the PCG-P named PokéPark cards moved to the Pokémon Forest nameset, if you could do that instead of redirects. Thank you. MoldyOrange 13:06, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Good timing, just about to link the Forest cards. Cipher 13:07, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
I just thought it would be better to have the nine of the cards under the same name, instead of 8 PCG-P and 1 PokéPark Forest. MoldyOrange 13:09, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Fair point, actually. Well, all eight existing pages have now been moved. Cipher 13:12, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Good, I'll make the Latias card page and edit the other ones. Now we know the origin of Kyogre... all we have left is the damn Altaria ex and its prevo, Swablu. MoldyOrange 14:24, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, this'll surprise you, as it did me: a quick search of the old Japanese card database shows they were in Eidolon Forest. Cipher 14:29, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, we now know where all the EX Emerald cards come from, (or at least I do). I wonder why they would have moved them. MoldyOrange 14:32, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
Strange, very strange. Could have been any number of things. I mean...yeah, I haven't a clue. Just one of those things, I guess. Cipher 14:39, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey...

You got AIM? --ニョロトノ666 20:59, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

I do indeed, just added you on there. If you have MSN or Windows Live Messenger though, that'd be even better as I use that more often. Cipher (Talk) 23:11, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

Userspace

The userspace limit is only for things that don't contribute to the main wiki. If a problem leaks out into the mainspace, like wanted pages or category problems, the rules are neglected. The rules are also neglected if what you are making will soon be in the mainspace, feel free to make those. MoldyOrange 13:08, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Alright, thanks very much for letting me know, I'll get onto that now. Cipher (Talk) 13:10, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Dusknoir to Gengar

If you're going to have a page with a Pokémon in it, at least use the correct Pokémon. You had Dusknoir in a Gengar only page. Try to keep that in mind next time, thank you. --Ricco 19:47, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
