Pronto (Japanese: プロント PRONTO) is a chain of Italian-style cafés owned and operated by PRONTO Corporation in Japan. It has done various collaborations with Pokémon, providing food, drinks, and merchandise themed around the franchise.

From October 12 through December 10, 2023, Pronto celebrated the release of Detective Pikachu Returns by rolling out fall-themed food, drinks, and merchandise available in-store.[1] Additionally, its locations in New Chitose Airport, Akihabara North Exit, Ginza Corridor, Umeda Rakutenchi Building, and Fukuoka Shintencho received extensive decorations to fit in with the theme.[2]

Merchandise

One of 9 available acrylic keychain designs and one of 21 available collectible cards can be obtained by purchasing any of the items on the menu. The rest of the merchandise was sold through Pronto's decorated flagship stores.

Additionally, a giveaway commenced on Pronto's X/Twitter account from October 12 to November 1. Users entered by following the account and retweeting a promotional Tweet that was to be posted at the start of the giveaway. 30 winners received either the complete set of collectible cards, the complete set of keychains, or a set containing the Detective Pikachu mug and ground coffee, with 10 of each prize being sent out.[3]

July 11, 2024-September 16, 2024

From July 11 through September 16, 2024, an exclusive menu themed to Pokémon located in or associated with seas and mountains was made available, along with merchandise that could be bought in-store. [4] A few of Pronto's locations were decorated to fit in with the theme, those being Sapporo Pole Town, Akihabara Ichiban, Shibuya, Umeda Rakutenchi Building, and Fukuoka Shintencho.[5]

Merchandise

A total of 7 acrylic keychain designs and 20 clear photo cards were made available through the purchase of any of the items on the menu. The rest of the merchandise was sold through Pronto's decorated flagship stores and released in two waves; the water bottle, t-shirt, and lunchbox began distribution on July 11 while the clear tote bag and drinking glass came out on July 25.

Some of the products could also be earned through giveaways on Pronto's X/Twitter account. They were also rolled out in two waves, with the first one occurring from July 11 to July 24 and the second one occurring from August 13 to August 26. In each wave, users entered by following the account and retweeting a promotional Tweet that was to be posted at the start of the giveaway. 10 winners of the first wave received the t-shirt and 20 winners of the second wave received either the complete set of keychains or photo cards.[6]

October 1, 2025-November 30, 2025

From October 1 through November 30, 2025, Pronto promoted the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A by holding a limited-time menu themed mostly around Pokémon connected to the game, including the Lumiose first partner Pokémon and Pokémon that can Mega Evolve.[7] Pronto's stores in Sapporo Pole Town, Ginza Corridor, Shin-Koshigaya VARIE, LaLa Terrace TOKYO-BAY, Tsuruma Park, Umeda Rakutenchi Building, and Hakata Underground City were chosen to be decorated for the collaboration. [8]

Merchandise

By purchasing any of the items on the menu, one of 7 acrylic keychain designs and 10 clear cards can be received. A specially designed paper bag was also available for those who ordered any takeout or other products. The rest of the merchandise was sold through Pronto's decorated flagship stores.

Like in the previous collaboration, some of the products were also obtainable through two giveaways on Pronto's X/Twitter account. The first wave ran from October 1 through October 14, and the second wave ran from October 31 through November 13. In each wave, users entered by following the account and retweeting a promotional Tweet that was to be posted at the start of the giveaway. 10 winners earned the complete set of clear cards and 5 earned a set containing the tote bag and luggage tag in the first wave.[9] On the second wave, another 10 winners earned the complete set of keychains and 5 more earned the long-sleeved t-shirt in medium size.[10]

Trivia

  • Pronto's location in Umeda Rakutenchi Building is the only store to be decorated in all of the company's collaborations so far.
  • The 2025 collaboration is the only one to not have Pikachu featured in the menu, although it continues to appear in merchandise.
