- A player may use the "Precious Gift" Ability after using a card effect that immediately ends their turn (eg. Boost Shake, Zacian V's "Intrepid Sword" Ability).[1][2]
- If a player has Togekiss with the "Precious Gift" Ability in play and uses an attack that Knocks Out the opponent's Pokémon, the player draws their Prize cards for the Knock Out first before using the Ability.[1]
- If a player uses the Supporter card Hex Maniac, their opponent is barred from using the "Precious Gift" Ability even after their turn ends, since Hex Maniac's effect is active "until the end of your opponent's next turn".[2]
- A player may use the "Precious Gift" Ability at the end of their turn after using Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR's "Star Chronos" VSTAR Power attack, before they take a second turn immediately after.[2]
- Consider a player that has Togekiss with the "Precious Gift" Ability in play and then uses a Supporter card that forces the player to change their hand size at the end of their turn (eg. Lillie's Full Force, Amarys). Since the Supporter card's effect and the Ability both occur at the end of the player's turn, the player may resolve these effects in any order.[1][2]
