Shinji Kanda
Shinji Kanda (Japanese: カンダシンジ Kanda Shinji, born 1986 in Kyoto Prefecture[1]) is an illustrator who has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Kanda's artworks are primarily done digitally, although he has used other artistic methods. For his first card, Magmar from the Brilliant Stars expansion, he used a technique of coloring on a plastic sheet using colored pencils before applying heat to shrink the plastic and enhance the colors. Kanda has also used various materials for his artworks, such as crumpled aluminium foil that he scanned for the artwork of SVP Promo Magneton.[1]
