Release information

This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold-etched Mega hyper rare card in the Phantasmal Flames expansion, first released in the Japanese Inferno X expansion. The Regular, Full Art ultra rare, and Mega ultra rare prints feature artwork by takuyoa, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by danciao.

In Taiwan and Hong Kong, this card is reprinted as a Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional card, and is included as one of the three promo card pairs that can be obtained from the booster pack included in the Inferno X Value Set. The Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional print features artwork by takuyoa and the "Inferno X" logo on the bottom left corner of the artwork.

In English, this card is reprinted as an MEP Promotional card with artwork by Saboteri, and is included in the Mega Charizard X ex Ultra Premium Collection product, releasing at the same time as the Phantasmal Flames expansion on November 14, 2025. The artwork on the English print features the Japanese text for the card's attack. In Japan, this print is released as a Mega attack rare card in the MEGA Dream ex subset, and its artwork features the English text for the card's attack.
