This card was released as both a regular-sized card and a Jumbo promotional card in the English Krookodile-EX Box in July 2014. In Japan, it was released as one of the XY-P Promotional cards, available as part of a twelve card promotional pack awarded to those who participated in the Pokémon Card Gym tournaments from the month of May 2014 through the month of July 2014. This card features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.

• On all prints of the English card, the "1" in Megaton Fang's attack damage is printed in the incorrect font.
