Release information

This card was included as a Regular card in the Journey Together expansion, first released in the Japanese Battle Partners expansion, with artwork by GOSSAN.

An SVP Black Star Promotional print of this card with new artwork by OKACHEKE was one of the Prerelease promos for Journey Together, available in the Journey Together Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. In Japan, this print is included in the MEGA Dream ex subset, with two Mirror Holofoil variants featuring either a Colorless Energy symbol or a Poké Ball.

Three Cosmos Holofoil versions of the Regular print with different stamps in the bottom left corner of the artwork were given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases at participating retailers in various countries starting March 28, 2025. Variants featuring a red GameStop logo were available in-store or online from GameStop in the United States and Canada with a $15 minimum purchase. Variants featuring an EB Games logo were distributed in Australia and New Zealand with purchases worth at least $15 at EB Games stores or through their online shop. Variants featuring the Journey Together expansion logo were available at participating stores in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines with purchases worth at least S$25, RM80, and ₱1,030, respectively.

In Japan, the Regular print of this card is reprinted in the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.

Origin

Hop uses a Snorlax in Pokémon Sword and Shield. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet. The interior of Wyndon Stadium is featured in both illustrations.
