Release information

This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the Japanese Abyss Eye expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Oku, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by Nakamura Ippan.

In Taiwan and Hong Kong, this card is reprinted as a Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional card with new artwork by Dsuke, and is included in a promo card pack available for winning 3 or more "New Expansion Battle" matches from June 5 to 26, 2026. Participants have to battle using at least 4 Pokémon cards from the Abyss Eye expansion.[1][2] The Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional print is released internationally as an MEP Black Star Promotional card and was one of the Prerelease promos for Pitch Black, available in the Pitch Black Build & Battle Box.

Origin

This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Sword. The Full Art illustration rare print of this card features Dhelmise alongside Poltchageist, Sinistcha, Shuppet, and Banette, whose cards in the Abyss Eye expansion all interact with this card through their shared "Hide 'n' Sneak" Ability.
