Release information

This card was included in the English EX Ruby & Sapphire expansion, first released in the Japanese Torchic Constructed Starter Deck. In Japan, this card was later reprinted with different artwork by the same artist as one of the ADV-P Promotional cards and distributed as inserts across several Shogakukan publications in February 2003. The English release of this print was awarded as a prize to those who attended the Pokémon e-League throughout September 2003, which features a foil "Winner" stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork. Jumbo versions of the winner print were also distributed as prizes. The original artwork was later reprinted in the Latias Half Deck of the English EX Trainer Kit. This print lacks the e-Reader Dot Code strip and features a normal border following the cessation of TCG support for the e-Reader starting with the EX Hidden Legends expansion.
