Aya Endō

Aya Endō (Japanese: 遠藤綾 Endō Aya) is a Japanese seiyū for the Pokémon anime.

Biography

Endō was born on February 17, 1980 in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, and became a seiyū and singer as an adult. Endō began her work in the Pokémon anime during the Diamond & Pearl series, voicing Veilstone Gym Leader Maylene and character of the day Sally. However, her most prominent role was Alexa in the Best Wishes and XY series. She also voiced Sinnoh Champion Cynthia for the spin-off series Pokémon Generations. Endō is currently affiliated with the talent agency Office PAC and won both Best Musical Performance and Best Supporting Actress during the 2nd Seiyu Awards of 2008 and the 3rd Seiyu Awards of 2009, respectively.
