Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the Scarlet & Violet expansion, first released in the Japanese Scarlet ex expansion. The Regular print features artwork by AKIRA EGAWA , while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by nagimiso . A Line Holofoil version of the Regular card was included in the Paldea Evolved Premium Checklane Blisters , released on June 9, 2023. The Regular print was also reprinted in the Japanese Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex and Shiny Treasure ex subset, the latter alongside a new print with artwork by Atsushi Furusawa featuring the Shiny version of Armarouge . Both of these prints were subsequently released outside Asia in the special Paldean Fates expansion.

Fire Off 's Japanese name may be a reference to hi okuri , literally seeing off the sun , an observance kigo traditionally associated with the vernal equinox in Japan. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet .
