Walkthrough:Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky/Chapter 17

No Place Like Home

Your team returns to the Guild and when your partner steps on the grate, Diglett is shocked to see their footprint again and comes up to greet you as everyone below mimics the shock at hearing you're back. The rest of the guild members rush up to see you, happy you're back safe. It's a tearful reunion and Wigglytuff welcomes you home before you head inside to recount your adventure in the future.

Chatot struggles to believe every part of your story, from Dusknoir being bad and trying to erase you from time, to Grovyle being good and trying to repair time. He suggests it was a bad dream and your partner argues with him until Sunflora questions why Dusknoir seemed to grab you and pull you into the portal to the future before. Other guild members begin to chime in with support, saying it was really weird and that your team might be right about Dusknoir. Wigglytuff ends any further debate from Chatot by agreeing with the majority and sets the guild to searching for the Hidden Land.

Back in Town

If you have anything to do in Treasure Town, you can finally do it once again. The purple Kecleon brother's shop added four new TMs: Dragon Claw (8000), Thief (6500), Bulk Up (8000) and Rock Polish (6500).

Torkoal

Your team recalls Torkoal at the Hot Spring you were washed away to after visiting Waterfall Cave and suspects he may be able to tell you something about the Hidden Land. You team enjoys dinner and rests in their own room before setting off to see Torkoal in the morning.

Waterfall Cave is much the same and after advancing past the last floor you find yourself back at the Hot Spring. Torkoal tells you that the Hidden Land is lore at best, but still shares what he knows. The Hidden Land is said to lay beyond the sea and is hidden- only the chosen are allowed to find it. To be chosen, one must have certain qualities but Torkoal can't remember what they are.. There's some kind of proof that's needed but he can't remember that either. He tells you he'll be sure to let you know if he manages to recall what proof is needed. Your partner is disappointed but thanks him before returning to the guild.

Wigglytuff and the rest of the guild remain positive despite not learning much today. After dinner, you head to bed and your partner wonders how Grovyle is doing on his mission before falling asleep.

The next morning, Torkoal arrives at the guild, having remembered what proof is needed. the proof bears an inscription of an intricate, odd, peculiar pattern that is rarely seen. You think of the inscription on the Relic Fragment and encourage your partner to show it to Torkoal, who exclaims right away that this is the pattern. He continues explaining that having this proof doesn't necessarily mean that you possess the qualifications to be chosen, but it's a key to the Hidden Land.

Wigglytuff and Chatot have seen this pattern before, deep inside Brine Cave. There's a vicious bandit there, they warn, but the guild members still want to go and plan to set off tomorrow. Torkoal cheers you on before leaving, as Wigglytuff attempts to order Chatot to stay behind. Chatot refuses and Wigglytuff agrees but tells him to stick with your team when you go so he can guide you both to the place where they saw the strange pattern. Wigglytuff leaves to do something before the mission and leaves Chatot in charge, who warns you again about the vicious bandit lurking in Brine Cave.

As Torkoal heads away from the guild, he's cornered by Team Skull who want to know why he was at the guild and what the Hidden Land is. They guide him away as they hear your team coming.

Return to Sharpedo Bluff

Wondering if Grovyle has returned, your partner asks to visit Sharpedo Bluff before going back to the guild. Grovyle isn't there, but he's left a latter for you. He's collected three of the Time Gears already and plans to rejoin you once he has all five. Azelf and his friends have been cooperating with Grovyle because the guild alerted them ahead of time that Grovyle would be coming. Despite his relief that more are starting to trust him, he won't return to town and warns that Dusknoir might come back to recapture you all. If Grovyle has information, he says he will return to Sharpedo Bluff or the beach before wishing you well and ending the letter. Your partner wants to head to the beach to make sure Grovyle isn't there, so you head off.
