GO Pass

The GO Pass, also known as the Adventure Pass, is a reward system in Pokémon GO that runs for a specific time period during which it may be completed.

Mechanics

GO Passes involve completing various gameplay activities to earn points in order to progress through the GO Pass and earn rewards like items, avatar items, Candy, encounters with Pokémon, timed bonuses, and more. Each GO Pass features two tracks of rewards: the Basic Pass, which is available to all players for free, and the Deluxe Pass, which requires an in-app purchase to unlock and provides more valuable rewards, and both tracks progress simultaneously.

There are two kinds of GO Passes. There are the monthly GO Passes, which feature 100 ranks and reward an encounter with a specific Legendary Pokémon at rank 100, followed by 100 ranks that reward Stardust. The other includes those for specific in-game events, such as GO Tour and GO Wild Area.

Earning Points

There are multiple ways to earn points in the monthly GO Passes. Players can earn points by completing Pass Tasks or certain accomplishments. There are two types of Pass Tasks: daily tasks and weekly tasks. Daily Tasks refresh at the start of each day, and consist of catching 15 Pokémon for a reward of 200 points. The Deluxe Pass provides another of the same task. Weekly tasks refresh at 10 am local time every Tuesday, and don't expire until the GO Pass ends. These tasks involve:

  • Catch 75 Pokémon - 200 PTS
  • Win a raid - 150 PTS
  • Make 20 Great Throws - 150 PTS
  • Hatch 3 Eggs - 150 PTS
  • Spin 25 PokéStops or Gyms - 100 PTS
  • Use 20 Berries to help catch Pokémon - 150 PTS
  • Earn 10 hearts with your buddy - 150 PTS

Players can also earn up to 250 extra points each day by completing certain tasks:

  • Win a raid: 100 PTS
  • Hatch an Egg: 40 PTS
  • Catch a Pokémon: 5 PTS
