By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Preview button

Next time you edit an article, like you did with EP244, you can use the preview button at the bottom left of your editing screen. This will allow you to view your edits without actually saving them officially. That way, you don't have to edit an article several times in a row. Just a heads-up. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 08:24, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Edit warring

Please do not edit war in the AG015 and AG031 articles. If you think something needs to be removed or altered, please discuss it on the talk page first. But for now, there are perfectly valid reasons to keep the information you're constantly removing. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:18, 25 February 2019 (UTC)

Signature policy

Next time you leave a message on a talk page of any kind, please be sure to sign it by leaving four tildes (~). It's standard policy to do so on here. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:21, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

Edit summaries

Instead of creating brand-new talk pages in order to explain your edits, you can do a more simple thing and leave behind edit summaries. The bar to type them in should be located at the bottom of your editing screen. Talk pages are for more controversial and contested matters. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:18, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

Linking anime character articles

Hey! On more than a few occasions, there is a separate article for an anime version of a character who's appeared in multiple forms of Pokémon media. As such, it's important to use the {{an}} template. For example, {{an|May}} is the correct usage, not simply [[May]]. Just so you know. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 13:24, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

Putting periods after sentences

I don't know how and why you're forgetting to do this simple thing. Never forget to put a period after every sentence you make. I (and other users, for that matter) can't do it for you all the time. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:24, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

I understand that I missed a period, but there is no need to make a talk page for one single period error. The previous posts are far more reasonable than me just typing a sentence and forgetting a period one time. I know you are just telling me "hey, never forget the period" but saying it in that manner isn't accurate whatsoever. That comment to me makes it seem like I forget a period in just about every edit I make. I am not the ideal writer (as you can probably tell) but at the end of the day, we are all human. This is not meant to be a rude message or a message to start drama, I am just telling you that I don't need a reminder for a single period I missed. If I have missed multiple, I apologize and will be more careful with future edits. Thanks. Mesquotia (talk) 20:49, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
It's a very simple thing to do. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:08, 10 April 2019 (UTC)
Did you not read what I just said? I understand that putting the period is simple, but I forgot it once and not multiple times. I really don't want to start anything so I'll end it here. I know it's simple and I shouldn't have forgotten it, but how you worded that comment was extremely rude. Mesquotia (talk) 03:47, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
I don't understand how you'd forget something like that. It should be instinct by this point to anyone. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 04:01, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
GrammarFreak, we're all human, we make mistakes here and there, no matter how simple. It's really not worth freaking out over.--ForceFire 04:15, 11 April 2019 (UTC)
