Level of wild Pokemon depends on your Pokemon?

I don't know if it is coincidence or not, but the first time you go to route 19, you will encounter level 2 or 3 wild pokemon. And after you defeat Alder's two school kids, the level of wild pokemon is 4. Can anyone check if it's true or if it's just a coincidence? Prisoner123 (talk) 11:18, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

It's pure coincidence. I'm already in postgame with most of my regular team and I still encounter a level 2 on occasion. Berrenta (talk) 21:30, 21 July 2013 (UTC)
